Mrs. Yi Taing, 86, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at St. Francis. Mrs. Taing was born in Cambodia and resided in Newport News since 1981.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her five children: Hap Bun (Sopha), Hoy Ly (Koy), Holy (Katha), Kim Yeng (Yaun) and Hor Ly (Sophia); her twelve grandchildren and four great–grandchildren; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 am on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Weymouth Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
