Trena Powell Caufield,78, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born in Alabama and had been a long-time Peninsula resident.
She retired as a cook with Newport News Public Schools and was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, Warwick Moose Lodge #1711. She was also an avid Thrift Store shopper.
Trena will forever be remembered by her loving daughters, Valerie, Mary Elizabeth and Carrie Ellen; six grandchildren, Joey, Valeen, Taylor, Thomas, Bryson and Maya; special friend, Pete Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
A celebration of the full and loving life that Trena shared with us all will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Warwick Moose Lodge #1711. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
