Private Service to be held.
Seamac M. Kasrai, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 8, 2020. He had recently moved back to the East Coast from Vancouver, Washington to be closer to his two sons, Bobak and Daniel. Seamac was born in 1956 to Eshrat Jamali and Amir Kasrai-Moghaddam in Tehran, Iran. He graduated from The University of Washington in June of 1978 with his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
He spent the majority of his adult life living in Virginia, where he ran a construction business, building and repairing homes for many families over the years. Seamac spent a number of years living in the Pacific Northwest with his mother and near his younger sister, Mojgan.
An avid fan of Sudoku puzzles, Seamac enjoyed solving problems. He never shied away from a challenge and always found a way to incorporate his creativity in his work. With the mind of an engineer, he was always good with his hands and even recently helped teach Bobak how to rewire the electrical system of a dishwasher and how to remove, clean, and replace the carburetor on a lawn mower.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eshrat Jamali and Amir Kasrai-Moghaddam; and his older sister, Susan. Seamac is survived by his younger sister, Mojgan; and his two sons, Bobak and Daniel.
Seamac will be missed dearly by his closest friends and family.
In lieu of a public service the family will hold a private service to honor his memory in the coming weeks. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
