Phyllis M. Webb, 91, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was born in Granite Falls, NC. Phyllis taught kindergarten in Elizabethon, TN and in Newport News for many years. She was the mother who supported her girls in dance and  cheerleading and her sons in all sports, especially wrestling. She taught her children perseverance. Phyllis was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church for 45 years. She had many wonderful memories in the Outer Banks with her family at their cottage. There was no doubt, Phyllis was a “Fashionista”; dressing to “the nines” with lots of sparkles! She had many hobbies, including bridge, bowling, ceramics, painting and knitting. Her last 6 years were spent at the Chesapeake Retirement Community where she made many new friends and received excellent care from their wonderful staff.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Webb and her son, Harry M. Webb, Jr. She is survived buy her daughters, Pamela R. Boyd (Robert) of Hampton, VA and Marsha M. Massagee of Rock Hill, SC; her sons, Eric R. Webb of Peachtree Corners, GA and Gary P. Webb (Mary) of Yorktown, VA; her 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.

Our Mother faced many challenges in her life but maintained that radiant smile and laugh and kept her jubilant spirit along the way. She was a lady of deep faith and a lover of life and people. We were Blessed that she was our Mom.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-12Noon on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home by Rev. Steven Crane.
