Electrician and Master Shipbuilder, Patrick Stuart Carmean, 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2021. Patrick graduated from Warwick High School in 1967 and the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School, graduating in 1971. Pat worked for Newport News Shipbuilding for 47 years. He enjoyed going to see movies, attending the theater, and spending time with family and friends. He was quick to offer help and guidance when you needed it.
Patrick was preceded in death by his loving wife, Angela (Travis) Carmean; his parents, Alex and Marguerite Carmean; his brothers, Steven and Michael Carmean. Patrick is survived by his three sons; Clay Carmean and his wife, Deanne of Pittston, PA, Matthew Carmean and his wife, Erzsebet of Austin, TX and Travis Carmean of Newport News, VA; He also leaves behind a mother-in-law, sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, nephews and a niece.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Peninsula Memorial Park.
