Pamela J. Smith, 65, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN. She was a native of Middlesboro, KY and had been a resident of Newport News for 52 years before she moved to New Tazewell, TN in 2007.
Pamela was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Lee Lewis; biological father, Arvil Fields and adopted father, Leon Huffman. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, David J. Smith, Sr. of New Tazewell, TN; her son, David J. “Smitty” Smith, Jr. and his wife, Sherry of Williamsburg, VA; her mother, Joetta A. Huffman of Winston Salem, NC; her adopted mother, Ruth Fields of Monroe, MI; brothers, Steve Huffman of Winston Salem, NC and Bill Fields of Monroe, MI; sister, Cindy Maier of Monroe, MI; and the joy of her life, her grandson, Cameron Smith of Williamsburg, VA.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Weymouth Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Peninsula Memorial Park by Rev. Dennis Worsham. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
