Noreen Sinniger Pennington passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Walla Walla, Washington on June 8, 1932. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marco Pennington; her parents, Louis and Lucile Sinniger; her sister, Patricia Fisher and brother-in-law, Joseph Fisher; and her brother, Charles Sinniger. She is survived by her seven children: Michael Pennington (Deborah), Patricia Freeman (Thomas), Martin Pennington, Catherine Bannon, David Pennington (Wendy), Jean Browning, Joseph Pennington (Rhonda); her sister-in-law, Becky Sinniger; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 4 nieces; and 2 nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Weymouth Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
