Melissa Dian Reynolds, 58, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Lanexa, VA. Born in Newport News, she was a lifelong Peninsula resident. Melissa worked at Riverside Regional Medical Center as a file and payment clerk. Melissa was very family orientated. She enjoyed being silly, had an amazing sense of humor and kept a positive attitude throughout her life. She was very creative and artistic and loved the color purple. She enjoyed spending time at the beach with a nice glass of red wine. She is now an angel looking over her family.
Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Williams. Her brother, Michael Williams, passed away hours before her on the same day. She is survived by her father, Jack Williams; children, Jessica Reynolds, Rodney Reynolds, Jr. and Ryan Reynolds; grandchild, Jaylen Wright; her siblings, Frankie Moore, Jackie Self, Fred Williams and several nieces and nephews.
Melissa and Mike will have services together at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Weymouth Funeral Home.
