June D. Floyd went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born Dec. 27, 1929 in GA and resided in Yorktown, VA. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William J. Floyd and his daughters and their children Dixie Headrick, Daniel and Mathew, Donna Fitzgerald (Bobby), Dylan and Stephanie and Margaret Eubanks (Douglas), Adam, Bryan, Aaron and Ray. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Weymouth Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Dr. Doug Echols, Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be private at Peninsula Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 1004 Yorktown Rd., Yorktown, Va. 23693.
