Julie Woodruff Saunders, 59, died suddenly at home June 12, 2017. She was the daughter of Mrs. Margaret W. Saunders and the late Rev. Howard W. Saunders III of Newport News, VA. She was a lifelong resident of Newport News, VA and a graduate of Hampton Roads Academy and Hollins College.
Julie is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Hollyday Saunders. She is survived by brother Stephen H. Saunders, his wife Rhonda G Saunders, and brother Richard L Dodge; nieces, Margaret Anne G. Saunders and Lamar H. Saunders; and nephews Stephen M. Saunders and Hans H. Saunders. A private graveside service will be conducted at St. Johns Cemetery, Hampton, VA.
