It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Jesse C. Kirby, 63, on Sunday, December 31, 2023. His sister, Cathy, and niece, Christy were by his side. Jesse was a native of Newport News.
Jesse was a caring, loving and thoughtful person. He enjoyed working in his yard with flowers and plants. Jesse loved caring for his animals. He took an interest in learning our Scottish ancestry.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary; his brothers, Charlie, Archie and Tommy; great-nephew, Dylan; and his partner in life, Ike. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sister, Cathy; brothers, Mike and Robin; two nieces and three nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hampton Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
