James Botelis, 72, departed this life on 26 January, 2019.
He was born in Washington, DC to Tom Botelis and Pauline Sakallarides and grew up in Alexandra, VA. After serving in the Army, Jim relocated to Newport News, where he met his wife of 47 years, Bessie Gayle Bridgeman. He worked locally in the automotive business for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, two children, two grandchildren, and many family members and friends. A private service was held.
