Guerino Mazzitti, 94, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his home shared with his daughter, Sandra Hayes, and her husband, Rodney Hayes. He was born in 1926 in Pescara, Italy. He moved to the United States in the early 1950s and served in the US Air Force for 28 years. He will be remembered for his love of reading, listening to his favorite operas, and telling stories about his life in Italy, especially as a teenager during World War II. He was in good health to the end, riding his bike every day and driving his car.
His beloved wife, Elsa preceded him in death three years ago. His ashes will be joined with hers. He leaves behind his brother, Italo Mazzitti (Nila); two daughters, Sandra Hayes (Rodney) and Debbie Davis (David); seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Guerino was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be sorely missed by all. No Services are planned at this time.
