Gail Patricia Ladlee, 84, of Henrico, NC died January 21, 2022 from an accident. Gail was born in Bradford PA, daughter of John and Rachel (Thompson) Keesler. She was raised in Smethport PA where she graduated from Smethport High School. Gail married Orin Wesley Ladlee on February 4, 1957 and eventually settled in Newport News, VA. She was active in the Eastern Star Pocahontas Chapter #103, Williamsburg VA. Gail and O.W. were known to jump on the Harley and travel with friends.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rachel Keesler and her husband Orin W. Ladlee; her son, Matthew Allen; her daughter, Gail Darlene; her sisters, Dianne Ferguson and Norine Erway and two infant brothers. She is survived by her children, Patricia Cook of Danville, VA, Denise McDowell of Roswell, NM, Michael Ladlee of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Morse of Yorktown, VA.; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a large family of nieces and nephews and other family members.
Gail will be laid to rest beside her husband O.W. at Peninsula Memorial Park. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
