Donald Miller

A Private Service Will Be Held For Family and Friends.

Donald Miller, 78, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 31, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born to Carl and Georgia Miller of Hamilton, Ohio where he lived with his 4 sisters and one brother throughout his childhood. Donald joined the Air Force and met the love of his life, Barbara, and started their military life which included getting to reside in several different states and one country. His daughter Kimberly was born in 1965, and his daughter, Diana in 1971. They eventually settled in Newport News, Virginia where the family continued to grow by leaps and bounds.

Donald was a wonderful father and amazing grandfather who loved sports, especially his Dallas Cowboys, and an occasional trip to the casinos. He also loved fishing in Nags Head and Florida.

Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara, and his grandson, Michael. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Coe (Greg), Diana Lyter (Curt); his grandchildren, Paul J Barnes (Brittany), Nicholas, Brandon, Matt (Kelcie), Bobbie, and Summer and his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Justin, Mason, and Sage.
