Stephen Mark Getsug died Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Coliseum Park Nursing Facility. Born in Hampton, he was a lifelong Hampton resident. Stephen entered the U. S. Navy and went on to   graduate from Christopher Newport College. He worked at the Newport News Shipyard and for the U.S. Census Department. He loved old cars especially Oldsmobiles. He had a fascination with the Kennedy and Johnson years and was very knowledgeable of that time in history. He was a member of Rodef Shalom Temple.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mollee Getsug. He is survived by his nephew, Michael D. Margulies of Virginia Beach, VA; niece, Shelley M. Gordan of Atlanta, GA and his neighbors and dear friends, Jason and Lauren Wood of Hampton, VA.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 at The Hebrew Cemetery in Hampton by Rabbi Dror. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
