Cindy Lucille Walnetski

Memorial Mass: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022

Cindy Lucille Nolan Walnetski, 58, of Newport News, VA was born in Norfolk, VA. She was the beloved wife of Kevin Walnetski; loving mother of Jack (Laura); sister of Jason (Sondra); the loving grandmother of two beautiful grand-babies, Ava Marie and Matthew John, whom she fiercely adored; beloved daughter of Jerry and Mary Nolan, and precious granddaughter of Iola Nolan. 

Cindy enjoyed life to the fullest. She had the most captivating personality and treated everyone she met like they were family. She enjoyed traveling, socializing with friends, dancing to good music, enjoying in the finest wines from around the world, laughing so hard she would cry, but most of all, she enjoyed being around her family whom she loved so deeply.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at St. Jerome Catholic Church.  Immediately following the service, there will be a light reception at the church. For those who wish to continue to celebrate Cindy, friends and family will meet at Hoss’s Deli Seafood and Oyster Bar after the church reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Cindy's name to Angel Flight Charity where she was always volunteering to help. My deepest condolences and prayers of peace to Cindy's Family. I will miss Cindy's super positive outlook on life and her big warm loud laughs :) She was an amazing person with a huge heart.

There are no words to express how deeply Cindy will be missed. She was like a candle in the wind. Condolences to all the family and the friends who loved her most. May she rest in God's arms now, until we meet again.

I am shocked and saddened by Cindy’s sudden passing. My heart breaks for Kevin, Jerry, Jack and Cindy’s entire family. She was so full of life! I will always remember her fondly as my fun-loving, caring Outer Banks neighbor. May your wonderful memories bring you all some comfort and peace. ❤️
