Kristen, I was in shock hearing of Alex’s death last week as we had been out of town since 6 April. Jazzy and I met you and Alex on the Windsor Park trails over the past several years, and I walked with/got to know Alex during a couple of those walks when you were not with him. We are heartbroken for the family. You now have my number and we are willing to help any way we can. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My most heartfelt condolences to your family on the loss of Alex. I first met Alex 14 years ago as new hires and he was so upbeat and created a strong bond with all his co-workers. Alex always use to bring food in to try as samples of his cooking but also gave me advise on how to cook. Plenty of on-line video game challenges with our SUPSHIP brothers but also many laughs during the years. Alex will definitely be missed but will always be in our memories. Please know that I will be praying for your entire family during this difficult time.

He was the standard of how a man should be. His word meant something, his smile lit up the world, he parented like there was no tomorrow, loved his wife like she was the world, and lived everyday as if it were a blessing. I hope to be as good of a man as Alex Young.

I knew Alex almost a year here at SUPSHIP. He always had a smile on his face and fist bump for me. He and I shared coffee creamer too, he would buy one then I would buy the next. Great, great guy. I'm really going to miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in your time of grieving.
