Justin Thomas “J.T.” Jones, 30, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many, passed away after a brief illness on December 12, 2021.

He was born in Germany. In 1995 his whole family moved to Newport News Virginia. Justin was a resident of Hampton VA since 2017.

Justin is survived by his parents, Scott and Veronika Jones and his siblings, Christian, Stefanie (Cameron), Brian (Bonnie), and Mike (Silke). He was an uncle to Taylor, Madison, Aubrey, and Gia.

After he graduated from Menchville High School, he worked as a carpenter. Justin enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, gardening, cooking, and painting.

Family and friends will cherish many memories, and continue to share stories and laughs. Justin will be remembered for his love of animals, his loyalty, and his dedication for helping friends in need.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Denbigh Presbyterian Church by Rev. Deborah Dail. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
