James “Jimmy” McCormick, 75, passed away on December 8, 2021. He was a native of Newport News. Jimmy graduated from Warwick High School in 1966 and proudly served in the US Navy. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and enjoyed spending time with his loving dogs over the years.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Lester Goodman and his mother, Eloise Clementine Fox; his sister, Mary Jean Fish and his wife of many years, Jane McCormick. He is survived by his loving partner, Joan Stradley; his brothers, John McCormick, Jerry McCormick and Jay McCormick; his sister, Caroline Wooten and his beloved labs, Roxy and Chloe. Jimmy was loved by many including many nieces, nephews and friends.
