Dylan W. Hinson

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021

Location: Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel

Dylan W. Hinson, 66, went to his heavenly home on November 8, 2021. He was born November 25, 1954 to Archie and Lila Hinson in Newport News, Virginia. Dylan was the most consistent, strong-willed, transparent, one-of-a-kind man you would ever meet. He had worked in the nuclear field since 1978, a dedicated employee of Framatome for over 21 years, where he worked as a refuel tech/crane operator. Dylan made many cherished memories with his family.

He enjoyed countless hours of quality time with his wife, sons and grandchildren. Dylan never met a stranger and his friends quickly became like family to him. He was an avid sports fan of Nascar, Virginia Cavaliers, Indianapolis Colts, NY Yankees, and golfing in his free time. Dylan was the proud and successful owner of the #17 Grandstock at Langley Speedway. Dylan was a true winner at the track, but most importantly, a winner at life.

Dylan leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Nancy; sons, Wayne Hinson(Jennifer) and Brandon Hinson(Abi); grandchildren, Brooke, Brody, and Cash; sisters, Barbara Ellis(James), Mary Lou Moore(Dick); brother-in-law, Chester McCrackin; their families, and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Brenda McCrackin and brother, Jerry Hinson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Weymouth Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 3:00p.m. The family will receive friends at the Hinson residence following the visitation.
