Dr. Melvin H. Winter, 90, lived a long and adventurous life which came to an unexpected close on October 1, 2021. Born in Bronx, NY.  He was married to Shirley for 59 years and together they traveled to all corners of the earth. They resided in Germany while he served as a U.S. Air Force LT and Optometrist. He was a man of integrity with a limitless stream of stories and self created poems which he loved sharing. He never met a stranger and was always kind and compassionate to others. As time moved forward in his life, he retired to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront where he enjoyed his boardwalk strolls and spending time at his condo pool with his dear friends. Age was not a deterrent; he moved and enjoyed his life until it’s conclusion.
