Location: Peninsula Memorial Park

Tammy Atkins Majernik, 53, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. After a 10-year courageous battle with cancer, an Angel has returned to heaven. Tammy was a lifelong Peninsula resident and was a 1989 graduate of Menchville High School. She worked in the Engineering Design Department at NNSY. She is survived by her 3 adoring children, Matt Lupo and Mitchell and Maggie Majernik; her devoted mother, Helen Atkins; her brother, Chuck Atkins and his wife, Robin; her mother and father-in-law, Elaine and Ray Keenan and grandchildren, Ariela Majernik and Damon Thomas.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Peninsula Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peninsula SPCA or Paws, Poquoson Animal Welfare Sanctuary. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
