Mary Virginia “Ginny" Montgomery

A Private Service Was Held

Mary Virginia “Ginny" Montgomery passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the age of 74 after fighting cancer. Ginny was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who spent her life helping others. She was an active member of the church, a community member, an educator, and a nurse. She served in the Army and was proud of her service to her country. Ginny showed strength, resilience and unwavering compassion throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, collecting recipes, volunteering with her church, and spending time with friends and family. Ginny was known for telling and learning new jokes.

Ginny is survived by her son, David and his wife, Caitlin as well as her two grandchildren, Carson and Preston. She is also survived by her sister, Abby; her brother-in-law, Joe; brother, Frank; sister-in-law, Fulvia, cousins, nieces and nephews.

As a mother and grandmother, Ginny was a source of unconditional love and guidance. Her warmth and compassion will continue to inspire her family for generations. Ginny was an active member of the church community and a testament to her faith and selflessness. She touched many lives with her kindness and devotion. She enjoyed singing in the choir and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
