I had the privilege of working with Jim beginning in my early days at the shipyard and we worked together off and on for most of my 40 years there. Whether he was leading thousands of America’s finest shipbuilders building some of the most complex machines on the planet or singing in the 7th inning at the Builders’ baseball games, he was always the same … a fine man with passion for the right things. I will miss him.

We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, not even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
God has him in His keeping, but you have him in your hearts.

To the Healy family,

I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Jim. Jim wore many hats and was successful in all of them. He made things happen and did a lot of good in the community, but most of all he was my friend, and I will miss him.
