I am going to miss this lady a whole lot. All of the wisdom and knowledge she shared with me in the short time of me knowing her is priceless. I will miss watching her dance with her 2 step when we played music on the weekend> God has definitely gained a beautiful angel. You are definitely missed. Love Keisha &Tarik

My love and sympathy to Josh and the family. My friendship with Veon, Josh and other family members go back many years. They came here to escape the ravishes of hurricane Katrina and a life long friendship was formed. We’ve kept in touch through calls, cards, texts, and emails ever since that time. She was a wonderful, God loving Christian and mother and I will miss her deeply. She is now well and happy and looking down on us with a big smile. I am so thankful that I had her in my life.

My condolences goes out to the family. Veon was a dedicated worker here at Riverside Mental Health and Recovery. She was a good friend of mine. I will miss seeing her come through the door with her cart & and the conversations we had while giving her a ride to the bus stop. R.I.H., you are no longer suffering.
