Edward Paul Goff, 64, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, left this world on October 31, 2023 surrounded by his family and closest friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Soojian Goff and Edward Stanley Goff.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sandra Goff; his cherished daughter, Jennifer Goff, who was the apple of his eye, and his brother, Christopher Goff.

Eddie dedicated 28 years of his life to teaching Electrical Apprenticeship through the JATC and was a proud member of IBEW Local 1340 for 46 years. He was a lifelong electrician and loved working with Power Solutions where his passion for his craft shone through in his work.

Eddie had a talent for building and fixing things, which is how he formed lifelong friendships with his best friends, Brent and Lucinda Larsen. His dedication to family, both by blood and chosen, knew no bounds, and he would go to great lengths to help and support them.

He adored his daughter, Jennifer, and was actively involved and supportive in every facet, from being a band booster, softball dad, to helping her build her career. Eddie's faith was an essential part of his life, and he was a leader in The Circle of Hope group at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, where he shared his love for his church and faith.

Eddie also had a passion for all things Harley Davidson, which brought him much joy and excitement.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Weymouth Funeral Home. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (St. Michael’s Hall). Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park. A reception will immediately follow the interment at the IBEW Local 1340’s hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Eddie’s favorite cause, IBEW Local 1340 to support the next generation of electrical workers (www.ibew1340.com).

Eddie will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his commitment to his profession, his wonderful sense of humor and his deep-rooted faith. He leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and a warm spirit that will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.

I've been with Power Solutions for 10 years now. In that time I've only spent a few moments and shared a few phone calls and emails with Eddie as he always worked in a different office than I did. He was always so kind and so quick to help out if I had any questions. A truly nice and genuine guy. Praying for all of his family and friends.

What can be said about a guy who's kindness, generosity, and integrity preceded him. My best friend and I loved him like a brother. Many years of loyal and laughs. Therevwasnt anything we didn't share. Daily talks and weekly lunches along with numerous family outings and football games. Heaven was never a question for Eddie. Make no mistake about it; he loved life and lived it to its fullest. Thanks for everything my dearest friend.

I was proud to call Eddie my friend. Eddie was always quick to share a laugh. And he was always ready with a story or a joke - usually both.
Talking with Eddie you knew he was a kind man, and he truly loved his family and friends. Eddie always seemed to look at the good things in life.
My condolences to the Goff family. Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you and Eddie. God bless you all.
