Linda Pitre Mikovitz passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 in Yorktown, VA. She was born in 1947 in Opelousas, LA to Mark Anthony Pitre Sr. and Betty French Pitre. After marriage, Linda accompanied her husband to various military bases and retired in Valdosta, Georgia. After 30 years, they moved to the Newport News/Yorktown area.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Mike C. Mikovitz, Jr.; her son, Jon Peter (Patricia) and her daughter, Jennifer Colleen Mikovitz (Maureen Mathews), her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jon, Dian, and Stephanie Mikovitz; her sister, Susan Rabalasis (Greg); brothers, Dr. David Pitre (Judith) and Mark Anthony Pitre, Jr. (Ann); brother-in-law, Donald C. Mikovitz (Lee Pheather) and her sister-in-law, Sandra Bohon; and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church with a Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in Tabb, VA, Sentara Hospice Services, or Hospice House in Williamsburg, VA. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.

Linda was a very loving person with an impish sense of humor. Sending my love and condolences to my dear "out-laws." I hope your cherished memories are a comfort.
