Earl Still

A Memorial Service Will Be Held At A Later Date

Earl Still was born to Albert and Mammie Moore in Cape May County, New Jersey.  He attended school in Cape May County as well as the Bordentown Manual school in NJ.  He was valedictorian of his class and graduated with honors.

He relocated to New Brunswick, NJ where he worked for the City of New Brunswick for many years. In 1980 he moved to Virginia until God called him home on February 9, 2023. When he became ill, he was cared for by his niece, Brenda and nephew, Tanner Wright.  He leaves behind his sister, Elizabeth Still, the last of 9 siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  He was a member of the Zion Baptist Church of Hampton, VA.

He loved the Lord and is leaving us with this thought…

I am Free… Don’t grieve for me forever…I am free.

I’m following the path God had for me.

I took his hand, when I heard him call, It wiped my book and he left it all.

Perhaps my time some all too brief.  Don’t lengthen it now, with undue grief.

Lift up our hearts, and share it with me.

God wanted me now, He set me free.

He will be missed by friends and family. The family of Earl Still wishes to extend thanks to his relatives and friends who helped and worked to comfort him with kindness. It was very much appreciated.

A Memorial Service may take place at a later date in New Jersey.
