Eleanor J. Barr, 91, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020. She a long-time resident of Newport News and was retired as a secretary at Ft. Eustis.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her loving husband, of over 40 years, Edward C. Barr, Jr., and son, Charles C. Barr III. She is survived by her son, David J. Barr of Moyock, North Carolina. Local services were private. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
