Edgar Widmer Hollomon, 66, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at VCU Medical Center. Edgar was a resident of Hampton since 1966 and was a graduate of Hampton Roads Academy. He received an Economics degree from Duke University in 1974. He owned and operated Hollomon Pontiac and retired from Peninsula Honda. He loved golf, traveling and had a keen sense of humor and direction.
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Quinn and Elizabeth Hollomon. He is survived by his wife, Karen Hollomon; his sons, Christopher Hollomon (Karen) of Richmond, VA and Nicholas Hollomon of Newport News; three daughters, Amy Hollomon Harris (Ivan) of Richmond, Celena Hale of Yorktown and Jeneana Jackson (Chris) of Winter Haven, FL; his brother, Quinn Hollomon (Judith) of Alexandria, VA and 11 grandchildren whom he adored.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his Life will be held at 3:00p.m.on Sunday, October 14, 2108 at Weymouth Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
