Carole Baker Crawford, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Our mother was a lady touched by God’s grace, Prov:31. She gave to all those around her. She was a loving daughter, sister and devoted wife to our Dad for 43 years until his passing. She gave her children unconditional love, always available to listen, give wisdom, her opinion and help when needed. Her greatest joy was to celebrate the special times in her grandkids lives and do sweet things for them. Her friendship was available to all. She was humble in nature, of quiet faith and enduring hope and courage in the face of adversity. As illness took its toll on her outward appearance, robbing her of kidneys and limbs, her inner beauty of a Godly woman showed even stronger until her passing. We loved her. She was our Mom and Granny. Now she is in Heaven with our Lord dancing with our Dad on a new set of legs. In that, we find comfort and peace. We love you Mom, always.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth, Laurie, Greg, and Patrick; her grandchildren, Connor, Zachary, Austin, Grace, Zsavion, and Olivia; her brother, Milton Baker and his wife, Judy; her cousin, Ann Miller and her husband, Leslie and a loving and caring sister-in-law, Tina Spivey.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00am by Rev. John David Ramsey. A potluck lunch will take place following the service at Menchville Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
