Barry Gatewood Padgett, 57, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Mary Immaculate Hospital. Barry was a lifelong Peninsula resident. He worked many years in the Hospitality Industry for Colonial Williamsburg. He was a master at model making and loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle. He spent many days fishing along the York River.
Barry was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Wakeland. He is survived by his father, Norris L. Padgett, Jr. of Yorktown, VA; his devoted brother, Norris “Lee” L. Padgett, III and his partner, Thomas Robinsky of Gloucester, VA.
The family will have a private service along the shore of his beloved York River.
