Ann Hodge Willis, 88, passed away August 20, 2017, at The Gardens at Warwick Forest. Born in Huntington, WV, she had been a Newport News resident most of her life. She worked at Lou Smith grocery store and eventually retired from Farm Fresh. She attended Olivet Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin P. Willis; and her grandson, Adam Linhart. She is survived by two daughters, Paula W. Jordan (Wilton) of West Point, VA, and Cindy Willis of Pawley’s Island, SC; her son, David H. Willis (Tammy) of Newport News, VA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 12:00pm, Saturday, August 26, 2017, in Peninsula Memorial Park by Pastor Dennis Worsham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Olivet Christian Church, 86 Maxwell Ln, Newport News, VA 23606. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
