Vivian V. Cooke, 77, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. Vivian was born the daughter of Lester and Lorene Cooke in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. She was the sister of Bill Cooke and Joyce Cooke Sabol and her husband, Joe Sabol.

She adored her nephews and their wives, Jason Bryant and wife, Jamie, Josh Bryant and wife, Amanda and her most favorite great nephews, Jake, Allen, Jonas, and Jameson.

Vivian graduated from William R. Davie High School and worked at Howmet Aerospace Corporation in Hampton, Virginia for many years. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Poquoson Elementary School reading to young students and one of the local Nursing Home Facilities. Vivian especially loved family gatherings and anything that involved her nephew’s children, Jonas, Jameson (JJ), Jake and Allen.

Family and friends may show their love and support by donating to a favorite charity. No services will be scheduled. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
